8-Bit, 10-Channel PXI Programmable Resistor Module—The PXI‑2720 is a test module that replicates the behavior of resistance-based inputs and outputs such as potentiometers, resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), voltage dividers, and bridge elements. The PXI‑2720 programmatically controls a series of relays to vary the resistance across each channel of an I/O connector. This function is well suited for simulating environmental conditions in hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) validation. The software provides a simple user interface that accepts inputs in units of temperature or resistance and configures the resistance across each channel.

Low-Density PXI Switch Matrix Modules

Our low-density PXI switch matrix modules are a cost-effective solution for applications that require relatively small matrices in the PXI format. These low-density switch matrices can be expanded by connecting together multiple modules, however, we recommend that users look at the higher density switch matrix modules that involve less user configuration. Reed relay versions use high quality sputtered ruthenium relays that exhibit excellent contact performance under low and medium level switching conditions. For general purpose applications that also require higher power handling, the range of electro-mechanical relays provides an ideal solution.

Multiplexer Module
This range of High-Density Multiplexer is part of our BRIC family. These MUX's are designed to simplify the connection of a common set of test equipment to one of a number of different devices for testing (simultaneous multiple channel selection is also possible, without limitation). These multiplexers are ideal for applications where the equipment needs to conduct the same test process on a series of similar devices one at a time. They are available in a variety of configurations that allow testing with differing number of devices to be tested and different connection widths to suit differing test equipment pin counts. All version are supported in a BRIC8 construction that occupies eight PXI 3U mechanical slots, one of which provides the PXI interface and power.
