The ESI subsystem provides platform interfaces like Gyro and on board Radar Blanking. This unit receives Analog and Digital GYRO inputs from ship and pre- trigger pulses from on board radars of the ship. This unit measures and provides the ship heading data to VARUNA ESM system. It also provides Heading, Roll and Pitch data to the ECM system. This unit also generates band wise composite ESM Rx. Blanking gates and provides all the required interfaces to ESM receiver, ECM System and System Controller units.

AOSense has developed a compact Integrated Laser Controller (ILC) that can be paired with our External Cavity Diode Lasers (ECDLs) to control laser current, piezo transducer (PZT), and temperature. The ultra-low noise electronics are fully digitally controlled. The ILC dimensions are only 5″x2.9″x0.95″. We provide software with an easy-to-use graphical user interface (GUI) that can control multiple lasers from a single window. If preferred, commands may be sent over a USB virtual COM port. The software screenshot below (click the image to enlarge) shows the interface including a plot of the temperature (green line) as it settles to a commanded value.

The ORTEC Model 439 Digital Current Integrator was designed to accurately measure DC currents or the average value of pulse currents such as produced by accelerator beams. It digitizes the input current by producing an output pulse for specific values of input charge. A front-panel switch permit the selection of three different amounts of charge (10–10, 10–8 or 10–6 coulomb) required to produce an output pulse. The instrument has a digitizing rate from 0 to 10 kHz to provide wide dynamic range on each setting and high-resolution readout without meter interpolation.
