Pulsar Microwave's 2-way switches are available in absorptive and reflective designs from 20 MHz to 18 GHz. They are also referred to as single pole, double throw and abbreviated SPDT or SP2T. Switching time is 100 nanoseconds, and isolation of 60 dB or greater for most models. Integrating spheres are used especially for measuring divergent light sources such as LEDs. The light is introduced through the input port, then reflected many times by the highly reflective interior of the sphere until it illuminates the inner surface uniformly.
