Load Testing vs. Stress Testing
-
A load test is a planned test to perform a specified number of requests to a system in order to test the functionality of the system under specific levels of simultaneous requests. A load test ensures that a web system is capable of handling an expected volume of traffic, and therefore is sometimes referred to as volume testing. The goal of a load test is to prove that a system can handle the expected volume with minimal to acceptable performance degradation. The threshold of acceptable performance degradation must be defined by the testers as some value considered acceptable to the end user so that users will not bounce from the site.

Labratory Micro-Spot XRD Residual Stress Analysus with both Iso- and Side-Inclination Methods
AutoMATE II
-
Residual stress may be created during the manufacturing process of a material, or it may accumulate in a structure over many years in operation. In either case, this stress can have a serious negative effect on a product's quality, durability and lifetime. Accurate detection of residual stress is an important element of the quality control process and helps predict the service lifetime of products.

Heat Stress Meters
-
The heat stress meter is mainly used in the workplace. The heat stress meter can detect and classify temperature in relation to the amount of moisture content. What is heat stress? And why is heat stress measured? People who work in installations or with machines that produce a lower energy level or a high emission of temperature can occasionally suffer heat stress (by the influence of body temperature). This phenomenon can also cause physiological symptoms: spasms, feeling unwell and shock that can in some cases prove fatal.

Standard Electromagnetic Vibrator
KD-9363-EM
-
King Design Industrial Co., Ltd.
The purpose of vibration testing is to make a series of controllable vibration simulation in lab, no matter generated by natural or man-made vibration environment; such as waves, tidal flaps, wind, earthquake or rain and so on. It is to test if the product is capable of sustaining the vibration environment exerted from transporting or usage along its effective life cycle; and certify the standard of design & functional requirement of product. The value of vibration testing is to confirm the reliability of products and effectively screen out the bad products in factory; avoiding damages occurred at arrival; and to assess the failure analysis on the non-performing products; expecting to reach a high standard, high-reliability products. The vibration test stresses on the continuity and fatigue; and contributes to the understanding of product’s status under vibration circumstance in a normal environment; and avoids the product’s unpredictable damage caused under certain vibrating frequency for a long time.

Qualification and Quality Control Tests
Techsquare
-
New IEC standards, IEC 60034-18-41 and IEC 60034-18-42, have been issued to define the procedures for testing partial discharge inception voltage and the long-term performance (endurance) of Type I and Type II insulation systems used in rotating machines fed from voltage converters. Voltage impulse generators are required at least to test turn insulation, but they would be recommended for any testing under power electronics supply because of their capability to simulate the real electrical stress conditions. More generally, any type of electrical insulation system when subject to impulsive voltage waveform during life should be carefully evaluated in terms of partial discharge and endurance behaviour. This is why voltage impulse generators able to provide impulses with controlled amplitude and frequency are needed to face this new testing challenge.

Hipot Tests
-
The hipot test (high potential test) or dielectric withstand test, is used to determine the insulation and dielectric strength. It is carried out on modules, devices and systems of protection class I + II. In this test, the insulation of the test object is subjected to greater stress by the high voltage than in normal operation. It is determined whether the insulation of all current-carrying conductors, as well as the safety distance to the enclosure, is sufficient and complies with the legal requirements under normal operating conditions. We will be happy to assist you with any questions or solutions to problems. You will find a large selection of high-voltage testers in our comprehensive shop.Questions?
