Model 990A/990C
The Model 990 Series Magnetreaters® are highly accurate, pulse type, ringing demagnetizers (also called treaters) for the controlled stabilization of permanent magnets and permanent magnet assemblies. Regardless of line voltage stability, they provide a controlled output through continuous pulse amplitude regulation. Treating voltage is variable from 0 to 600 VDC. Additional energy can be added to the Model 990 Series by interconnecting a Model 992 Energy Booster. The energy level is increased from 18 to 36 watt-seconds. With this option, treating coils will produce higher demagnetizing fields and lower ringing frequencies, which can provide greater field penetration in some applications.

Model 8515-D
The Model 8515-D is a medium-energy, high voltage, and capacitor discharge type ringing demagnetizer capable of desaturating Ceramic and Rare Earth magnetic materials. The Model 8515-D is easily adapted to a wide range of production and laboratory demagnetizing requirements. A modern solid-state electronic control circuit, coupled with a rugged, heavy-duty discharge SCR and fixture, make this demagnetizer a highly reliable, low maintenance unit. The electronic voltage control circuit prevents the Model 8515-D from being discharged before the preset energy level has been reached, avoiding incomplete magnet desaturation. An easy to read front panel meter monitors the capacitor voltage. The energy storage level can be easily changed in the field. RjP-400 Series
The RkP-400 Series probes consist of a compact detector assembly, or head, and a preamplifier housed in a separate enclosure. The external dimensions of all the 400 Series Probes are the same, with identical detector planes, allowing for easy interchange of probes in an experiment. The heads have both ¼-20 and M6 tapped holes, a built-in 1" (25mm) filter holder, and a side-mounted BNC connector. Probe specific data, including spectral response curves and calibration dates, is stored in the preamplifier for access by the instruments.

Inductive Sensors
In general, inductive proximity switches consist of four basic elements: a coil, an oscillator, a threshold switch and an output stage with short-circuit protection.The oscillator generates a high frequency, electromagnetic alternating field which is emitted from the active face of the coil.Eddy currents are induced in a metal object that enters this field. These eddy currents draw energy from both the electromagnetic field and from the oscillator which is consequently attenuated.The more energy taken the closer the metal object moves towards the active face. The threshold switch switches on the output stage at a defined attenuation value.In proximity switches with a DC voltage supply, this switch is designed as an NPN transistor which switches the connected load to the negative pole or as a PNP transistor which switches the load to the positive pole. The output stage is a thyristor or a triac in AC voltage switches.
