The 40-726A is a 12x8 RF Matrix Module suitable for switching frequencies up to 300MHz (50Ω version). The 40-726A is available in either 50Ω or 75Ω versions with a choice of coaxial connectors. The module is designed to provide a simple and scalable bidirectional matrix for RF frequencies. Isolation Switches are located on all coaxial connectors, these disconnect the matrix from the external test fixture. This maximizes isolation and RF performance.

The DP-cPCI-2502 is a 16 channel analog output module organized in four groups of 4 channels each. Each group is isolated with respect to each other and with respect to the system using optical isolators and DC-DC converters. Each output channel is driven by a 16 bit resolution precision DAC. The input digital data is converted to analog signals of ±10V range. The digital data for the DACs is written from the cPCI interface via two banks of latches enabling a double buffered output scheme.

Signal IsolatorsDatexel manufacture a large range of Signal Isolators. The DAT511 is a loop powered isolator with 3000 V galvanic isolation between the input and output. It is a 2 wire device so there is no external wiring. The DAT511H is similar but is Hart compatible. The DAT4035 is a universal input signal (Thermocouples, RTD's, mV, Volts, mA, resistance and potentiometers) conditioner with 2000 V isolation between the input and output and it is PC programmable. It is a 2 wire loop powered device. The DAT4135 is similar but it is a 4 wire device so it has the ability to boost the output or provide a voltage output.

The 16 digital power outputs are equipped with protection diodes and filters. The board is fully compatible to the PCI board APCI-1500. The APCIe-1500 has interruptible inputs. They supersede continuous cyclical query processes (polling) for routine monitoring and evaluation tasks. This takes load off the processor and the software. At a change of state of the digital inputs the APCIe-1500 generates an interrupt, so that the system reacts on the event through the interrupt routine and herewith fulfils real-time criteria.
