The USRP Software Defined Radio Reconfigurable Device is built on the LabVIEW reconfigurable I/O (RIO) and universal software radio peripheral (USRP) architectures. It includes a powerful FPGA for advanced DSP that you can program with the LabVIEW FPGA Module. The device includes 2x2 MIMO transceivers or four-channel superheterodyne receivers, supporting center frequencies from 10 MHz to 6 GHz, with up to 160 MHz of instantaneous bandwidth. The USRP Software Defined Radio Reconfigurable Device also optionally includes a GPS‐disciplined oven-controlled crystal oscillator (GPSDO), which provides greater frequency accuracy than temperature- compensated crystal oscillators. The SC5503B and SC5502A are designed to meet demanding low phase noise applications. This is accomplished by employing a multiple phase-locked loop architecture as well as a YIG oscillator as the heart of its synthesizer. Frequency accuracy is provided by an onboard 10 MHz temperature compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) which can be phase locked to an external reference source if required. These modules can be used as standalone CW signal sources or as LO sources for frequency conversion systems such as the SignalCore IQ modulators and demodulators. This conduction cooled 6U CompactPCI dual slot PMC provides an active interface between the CompactPCI bus (backplane) and a PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC). This product addresses the needs of aerospace, military, and rugged applications. It contains a thermal heat frame made of aluminum that fits together with conduction cooled PMC modules. Conduction cooling conducts heat away from the hot spots of the board and transfers the heat to the card edges and to the system chassis. No active ventilation is necessary inside of the system, which means the boards are sealed from the environmental influences found outside of the chassis. The heat frame and integrated wedge locks for the conduction cooling stiffens the carrier and PMC module enabling the board to resist high shock and vibration.
