The 6 slot conduction cooled chassis can dissipate 120W in a non-moving air environment. The fin design and wall thickness was designed and analyzed with Flowmetrics software and designed for minimum delta T offset in an average thermal load application. The design was then verified in real life enviromental chamber experiments with a sealed chassis using our 3U heat simulator modules. Data available upon request.

The Chassis Remote Control Cable connects the PXI Remote Control Module to a variety of host interfaces on desktop PCs, rack-mount controllers, laptops, or other PXI or PXI Express systems.PXI Remote Control Modules support either copper cabling or fiber-optic cabling, and some models support both. Copper cables offer higher data throughput capability but are generally shorter (1 meter to 10 meters), while fiber-optic cables are available in much longer options (100 meters or more) but may have lower data throughput capability.
