By using advanced technology to verify the integrity (20 pins + shield) of both display port and HDMI cables, especially for HDTV installation and DIY termination in the field, solving your cable testing need, unlink all of the other testers verify 9 circuits only. It checks for opens, shorts, miswires and intermittent faults in all conductors plus shield continuity, most tester only test for opens. It displays cable map results of both TX (near end) and RX (far end) on the main unit, either on testing before or after installation cables. User can easily read and determine the actual 21 pins configuration on main unit. It employs both auto and manual scanning of 21 wires. Tone Generator mode transmits two selectable tones on each pin for use with Net Probe (PR-06P) optional, enables one to quickly locate a cable. It's capable of testing up to 8 cables and locations at one time. NEXTest 7 especially features a self-learning mode to memorize cable pin out for testing large quantity standard or custom cables for PASS/FAIL a snap, makes testing quick and more efficient.

Among other things, solar array simulators are required for testing satellite power supplies. An SAS (Solar Array Simulator), consisting of an interconnection of several Solar Array Simulator modules, maps the solar panels and displays the individual strings connected in parallel. Optionally, the individual SAS modules are monitored by a Second Level Protection, so that the test object is not damaged in case of errors with the voltage sources. Additional circuitry is implemented via project-specific test modules. The signal path to the DUT can be separated, e.g. for dynamic current measurements.The Keysight Solar Array Simulators used were specially developed for satellite applications and cover the significantly higher requirements regarding the control speed of MPP tracking compared to terrestrial applications.

Used by several power companies around the United States, professional noise hunters, and other communications specialists, the HFDF has located noise sources that emanated from pole power transformers, arcing electric fences, CATV in-line amplifiers, plasma TV screens, and even Marijuana grower’s heating lamps! The system incorporates several plug-in, tunable magnetic loop sensors of a proprietary National RF design, that cover the frequency range between 1.8 MHz and 55 MHz. The unit is packaged in a hand-held, lightweight metallic enclosure, with a pistol grip and a magnetic compass mounted on top. The compass is used to get magnetic bearings to the noise source, which may be plotted on a map to triangulate, and ultimately pin-point, the location of the noise source.
