The ptf 1229A utilizes the latest technological advances in precision frequency synthesizers to provide a multiple output, wide range, high precision frequency reference instrument, capable of delivering frequencies over the range of 0.1Hz up to 30MHz with a resolution of 0.1 Hz over the full range.The unit includes an external reference input to allow extremely high accuracy outputs at precisely the frequency required, together with a front panel indicator to verify “lock” to the external reference. The standard unit includes two independent frequency outputs of any frequency within the range, and provides both sine and square wave outputs for each frequency.An expansion module gives the capability to increase the number of independent frequency outputs up to a total of four frequencies, with sine and square wave outputs for each, giving a total of eight outputs.

The EM-2107A is a standard test fixture for evaluation of the electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of planar material. The fixture is an enlarged section of coaxial transmission line and complies fully with the requirements of ASTM test method D4935-1. The measured data relates to the shielding effectiveness due to a plane wave (far field EM wave) from which near field values for magnetic and electric fields may be inferred. The EM-2107A is provided with a reference standard test specimen, a dynamic range specimen. Dynamic range of greater than 80dB is achievable, although the cables and other test system components usually establishes the limiting factors.

The Model PS1 under tank probe is designed to be used in conjunction with customer-supplied ¾” National Pipe Thread (NPT) PVC piping and the product has a ¾” (NPT) threaded end that accepts a standard coupling. Any number of pipe pieces can be combined via couplings to provide the required probe insertion length under a tank. The probe can be combined with any standard reference electrode with a ¼ x 20 threaded fitting, including the RE-5, RE-5C and RE-7 portable reference electrodes. Reference electrodes are sold separately. The sealed cable to be fed through a customer-supplied PVC pipe comprises #16 AWG wire with red colored PVC insulation and the wire length can be selected via the radio buttons in the field below.

The ATG-9100 is an example of a laboratory-quality instrument that will simulate complex target motion. Microwave signals from the speed camera enter the instrument through an integrated antenna which is then downconverted and digitized. Target simulation data is added to the digitized signal to provide range and Doppler information. The modified digital data is then converted back to an IF and upconverted to the original microwave frequency of the speed camera and radiated back through the antenna. Since the ATG-9100 can be phase-locked to an external 10 MHz reference standard, this instrument is suitable for use as a calibration standard for speed cameras.
