The EM-6851 Omni-Directional Wideband Antenna is capable of operating as either a transmitting or receiving antenna over the 2 to 18 GHz frequency range. The length of the support rod allows a microwave amplifier to be connected directly to the output connector, reducing the potential signal loss compared to an amplifier connected at a more distant point.

Hybrid couplers with bandwidths as broad as 125:1 are available for applications within 100 kHz to 500 MHz. Power handling is 1 watt maximum for a load VSWR of 1.2:1 or better. These hybrids have an isolation of 20 dB and phase balance of 3 degrees. Most models have a VSWR of 1.4:1 or better throughout their operating bandwidths.Pulsar Microwave currently offers these hybrid couplers packaged in three outlines, including an SMT version. Standard offering of connectorized packages 412 and 442 are with SMA female connectors. Outline 412 may be customized with any combination of BNC, TNC, F or N connectors. Outline E is the surface mount version and requires less than one square inch of board area, making it well-suited for portable applications.

A neat little box with BNC connectors and a pair of binding posts, it is rated at 270 V.A.C. at the LINE terminals and 20 volts PMS into the GEN port. Looks good and does a fine job.
