In a 2nd stage, the signal is amplified by a factor of 20. The output voltage range is ±5V to ±18V and asymmetrical to +31, -5V for PSRR measurements right up to 30V as the input supply increases past 20V.

Each model includes an integrated linearizer, and a driver that controls the attenuation level. This design results in transient free switching between attenuation levels as opposed to the spurious outputs that result when an attenuation value is switched either on or off by a direct digitally controlled attenuator.
