Pro Laser Tachometer
332
-
The #332 is the ideal tool for easy and accurate measurement of RPM in almost any environment. Simply aim the laser beam at a reflective mark placed on a rotating device, push the button and the RPM reading is immediately displayed. No contact with the shaft or wheel is necessary. The laser beam is not affected by shop light and can detect RPM from longer distances of up to 6 feet away. The #332 can measure up to 99,999 RPM in 1 RPM increments. It can be used to measure RPM on coil-on-plug and diesel engines, where conventional inductive tachometers can not be used. Other uses include generators, compressors, industrial engines, fans, gears and more. Zippered case, reflective tape, instructions & 9V battery included.

Non-Contacting Single-turn
-
A rotary position sensor translates angular positions to an electrical signal. Rotary position sensors are designed for applications that typically require frequent adjustment. Shaftless designs allow for a different engagement mechanisms, such as a customized shaft, a motor control, a human interface adjustment or a mechanical arm position locator.

Non-Contact Displacement Meter
-
The principle of the eddy current is applied to measure the distance without contacting an object. This measuring method is widely used in the industry for detecting abnormal vibrations of rotating shafts or ironwork in a production in line. The highly accurate signal conditioning for providing the analog voltage being linearly proportional to displacement can be made easy.

Rotary Hall Effect Sensor
-
The output of the Rotary Hall-effect sensor is a voltage which changes in direct proportion to the shaft angle. The sensor is non-contact, using Hall elements to determine the angle of a magnet. The magnet is either mounted in a shaft integral to the sensor or can be mounted externally to the sensor.

Optical Detector
LG-9200
-
The LG-9200 is a non-contact type optical detector which emits red visible light and detects the reflected light from the rotating shaft. The reflection mark is used for the detection by affixing it on the rotating shaft. It enables detection at an angle. (reflective mark: HT-011 by Ono Sokki)The LG-9200 has a built-in compact amplifier and outputs the square wave (voltage) after waveform shaping. With a compact and light weight body, performances are upgraded compared to the previous model LG-916.(LG-9200 detection distance: up to 40 mm, response speed: up to 40 m/s)

Rotating Torque Meter
NTS-6 series (S1/S2/S5/S10/S20)
-
Torque measurement of rotating body. Measure rotational torque during assembly of devices with rotating functions and on finished products. While the output shaft self-rotates, the built-in sensor catches load fluctuations on the rotating body. It is possible to measure the rotation starting torque of the rotating object ( which does not rotate by itself and does not have power) and the load torque during rotation. (Printers, copiers, zoom lenses, door knob mechanisms, hinge mechanisms, etc...)

Autopilot Directional Gyroscopes
4000C/D-series
-
The 4000C/D is an air-driven directional gyro with A.C. autopilot pickoffs. Left turns produce clockwise dial rotation and right turns produce counter-clockwise rotation. Two knobs control the gyro. The left knob is used to cage the unit, and the right knob is used to select the instrument’s heading. To change course, the right selector knob is pressed and turned to disengage the dial shaft and set the pointer to a new heading. Releasing the selector knob re-engages the pointer with the dial shaft. As the aircraft turns onto a new course, the pointer returns to its original position. The on-course position of the pointer is always at the top of the azimuth circle (0° on the dial with the aircraft headed north).

Torque
-
Torque instruments are used to apply, measure, or control torque—the twisting force that causes an object (like a bolt or shaft) to rotate. Their main purpose is to ensure parts are tightened or tested accurately and safely, not too loose and not too tight.

Shaft Speed Switches
-
A speed switch senses rotating shaft speed, comparing it to one or more settable over/under/zero speed alarm trip-points. A shaft speed sensor detects magnets embedded in a shaft-mounted pulser wrap/disc. As the shaft rotates, the passing magnets are detected across an air-gap as pulses with frequency proportional to shaft RPM. When a conveyor belt or bucket elevator begins to slip the pulse frequency (shaft RPM) crosses to the alarm side of a trip-point threshold, a corresponding relay de-energizes, providing shutdown or alarm.

Linear Variable Differential Transformer (LVDT) and Rotary Variable Differential Transformer (RVDT) are transformer-type voltage/current transducers that convert a linear/rotary movement of a core/shaft to a multi-wire differential AC electrical signal. Both deliver signals linearly proportional to the position of a shaft (magnetic induction core). An LVDT/RVDT simulator is used to convert digital positional commands to corresponding AC signals.
