The SIGLENT SNA5000A series of Vector Network Analyzers have a frequency range of 9 kHz to 8.5 GHz, with 2 and 4 port models available. Designed to give you instant insight into scattering, differential, and time-domain measurements. They are effective instrumentation for determining the Q-factor, bandwidth, and insertion loss filters and feature impedance conversion, movement of measurement plane, limit testing, ripple test, fixture simulation, and adapter removal/insertion adjustments. There are five sweep types: Linear-Frequency, Log-Frequency, Power-Sweep, CW-Time, and Segment-Sweep mode. The SNA5000A series VNAs also support scattering-parameter correction of SOLT, SOLR, TRL, Response, and Enhanced Response for increased flexibility in R&D and manufacturing applications.

The Sercos Monitor is a powerful diagnosis tool for Sercos III networks which is available for free download from the Sercos website. It allows a comprehensive and detailed analysis of data traffic in Sercos III networks. The Sercos Monitor supports the Windows XP and Windows 7 operating systems. The tool, which is based on the WinPcap interface, allows a retrospective evaluation of network records saved in pcap format, as well as real-time analysis of network traffic. The user-friendly interface and overview functions which are characteristic of Sercos III networks, such as topology, communication phases and service channel transfers, allow the analysis process to be started quickly and in a targeted manner. All commercial LISNs include an artificial hand connection and a transient limiter. This adds a 30dB insertion loss. A 30dB pre-amplifier is included which can be connected in the RF output feed to return the insertion loss to 0dB. All bar the heavy current LISNs are constructed in a flanged aluminium enclosure that can be bolted directly down to a ground plane (as required by standards). The underside of the enclosure is left unpainted to ensure good conductivity with the plane. The 16A and military/automotive LISNs have an RF output for each line, thus allowing parallel measurements of the emissions. This facilitates measurement of common mode and differential mode components of the emissions if required.
