The Opacity und Color Analyzer lets you test color and opacity of products reliably and with long-term stability. The system is divided into a powerful measurement electronics section (PR0120) and a highly stable light source (PR0108). The measuring range for opacity using transmitted light is from 0 to 5 (OD0 to OD5). Using reflection the system uses the CIELab color space with a long-term stability of the dE of <0.2. The measuring circuitry works in conjunction with the intelligent light source with a sampling rate of 2 KHz. Availability of different optics permits high variability in the application.

The CIELAB Color Checker PR0086-S is an in-line color measurement system tuned for high absolute color accuracy. Color calibration at the factory uses an absolute calibrated reference spectrometer. The absolute accuracy for all colors is an average of ~1.6 dE. The relative accuracy, including between systems, is less than +/-0.5 dE. Using factory or user calibration absolute values can be achieved that are equal to spectrometers.
