The 40/42-230 range provides a simple solution for applications requiring voltage handling up to 1kV (9-pin D-type connector) or 1.2kV (22-pin REDEL connector).

Multiplexer Module
The 40-872A-102 (PXI) and 42-872A-102 (PXIe) are 50 Ohm 4 to 1 PXI RF multiplexers with 2 banks in a single slot. They have low insertion loss and VSWR through the use of modern RF relay technology at an affordable cost. Each MUX has been carefully designed to ensure excellent and repeatable RF characteristics to frequencies of 3GHz with each path having a nominally equal insertion loss. The injection of noise and unwanted signals into the signal paths of this RF MUX has been minimized by careful attention to the mechanical and electrical design.

Matrix Switch Module
Our small format embedded switching (SIM relay) cards offer a choice of switching configurations using low cost industry standard SIM connectors. They free the designer from the detail of routing complex switching circuits, you may select from a wide range of cards using the built in RS-232 and I2C interfaces. These low-cost embedded switching cards are intended to be mounted on to a simple motherboard. They may be used to construct very high density switching networks. SIM based switching cards also allow for very simple in-field maintenance.

Matrix Switch Module
The 60-510 is a high density 1-pole matrix module controlled via LXI. It has excellent thermal stability and substantially reduced thermal EMF figures when compared to a conventional switching matrix. Typical applications include signal routing in ATE, selecting thermocouple inputs, switching amplifier gain circuits and high accuracy DC micro-volt measurements. Ruthenium reed switches are used because of their good low level switching capability. They also have a very long life with excellent contact resistance stability, minimal wetting current and low thermal offset. The 60-510 is designed in accordance with the LXI Standard 1.4 and is supplied in a 2U high, full rack width case with 500mm depth.

The 42-205-008 (PXIe) is an 8-channel fault insertion switch designed to simulate common faults on high speed two wire communication interfaces such as xBaseT1 Ethernet. It is available with 4 or 8 channels of two wire serial connections and can be used for simulating faults on 10BaseT1, 100BaseT1, 1000BaseT1 and 10GBaseT1 Ethernet interfaces. Any wire can be set as open circuit and shorts can be applied across wire pairs. Fault connections can be made to one of four external signals via two fault buses, typically simulating connections to supply voltage or ground.
