The Matrix Module for SwitchBlock is for use with the PXI Carrier Module for SwitchBlock and can operate as an individual relay card, can combine with other Matrix Modules for SwitchBlock in the same PXI Carrier Module for SwitchBlock, and can combine with other Matrix Modules for SwitchBlock in other PXI Carrier Modules for SwitchBlock in the same PXI chassis. Each Matrix Module for SwitchBlock comes in an A-type version, which serves as the first matrix building block and offers row and column access through the front connector, and a B-type version, which serves as an expansion module and only provides column access through the front connector. Typically, SwitchBlock systems contain one A-type module and numerous B-type modules.

The GX6196 is a 6U PXI switch and control board that can be used to create custom switching, signal conditioning, or specific UUT control interfaces. The board provides 96, 2 pole, form A relays, 8 digital I/O lines, and a serial digital interface. All of these resources are available via (5) inter-board connectors which interface to the user defined daughter / mezzanine board. The mezzanine board provides all connections to the unit under test (UUT) via two 78 pin D-sub connectors. The GX6196 is supplied with a front panel which accepts (2) 78 pin D-sub connectors.

The M9023A is a PXIe System Module and is installed in the system slot of a PXIe chassis. When combined with an appropriate host adapter, it will provide a high data BW connection between the host PC and the chassis. The M9023A has a flexible configuration capability. The VX405C carrier provides the mechanical and electrical interfaces between the VXIbus and up to six (6) VITA 12-1996 standard M/MA-Modules. The carrier provides VXI register configuration and access to the M/MA-Module I/O space and memory (if present). Qseven is a Computer-on-Module (COM) standard for small sized and highly integrated systems adopted by SGET. The Qseven concept is an off-the-shelf, multi-vendor, Computer-on-Module that integrates all the core components of a common PC and is mounted onto an application specific carrier board. Qseven modules have a standardized form factor of 70 mm x 70 mm or 40 mm x 70 mm and have specified pinouts based on the high-speed MXM connector, regardless of the vendor. The Qseven module provides the functional requirements for an embedded application, which include, but are not limited to, graphics, audio, mass storage, network and multiple USB ports. A single ruggedized 230 pin MXM connector provides the carrier board interface to carry all the I/O signals to and from the Qseven module.
