Passive probe with X1/X10 switch
They are normally designated X1 and X10, although 1X and 10X are sometimes seen. The designation refers to the factor by which the impedance of the scope itelf is multiplied by the probe.The X1 probes are suitable for many low frequency applications. They offer the same input impedance of the oscilloscope which is normally 1 MΩ. A universal heatsink, which is designed and fabricated for Eravant's active device applications with up to 15-watt power dissipation. The heatsink consists of the main heatsink body, a DC fan and a heat spreader. The heat spreader is also known as adapter, which is used to bridge the mounting gap between the heat sink main body and the to-be-heat-sunk devices, such as power amplifier, frequency active multiplier, oscillator, transmitter and transceiver due to various mounting hole locations. They can be used in diverse applications, e.g. in the automotive sector with distance radars, in astronomy with sophisticated telescopes and in radar interferometry for analyzing the earth’s surface.The frequency multipliers are available in the R&S®SMZ75 (from 50 GHz to 75 GHz), R&S®SMZ90 (from 60 GHz to 90 GHz), R&S®SMZ110 (from 75 GHz to 110 GHz) and R&S®SMZ170 (from 110 GHz to 170 GHz) models.
