Designed as a companion probe to Models 12C and 18C for driving integrated circuit lines so the Model 12C and 18C can be used to measure the response of adjacent nodes. The Model 7 consists of a flexible 6 foot, 50 ohm coaxial cable accurately terminated to 50 ohms in order to avoid undesirable reflections. A special miniature connector receives replacement coaxial probe tips that provide a shielded environment to within 3 mm of the fine tungsten probe point, thus minimizing capacitive coupling to other parts of the circuit. The replaceable coaxial probe tips are offered in various point sizes and can also be bent to any shape in order to accommodate a variety of probing geometries.

Modern receivers for broadcast have a large number of antenna inputs for the different radio bands. The devices of the FDMX series can be used to supply the antenna inputs with RF signals. The devices of the FDMX series splits a sum signal in frequency division multiplex into the individual broadcast bands and the L1 satellite navigation band (GNSS). Additionally, DC loads are provided for each antenna input to simulate active antennas. The presence of remote power supply is indicated by an LED on the units.

In most applications the low noise and signal gain capability of the units will provide userswith a robust GPS signal source for lab or system requirements.The ptf 1230A/1231A uses individually buffered output stages and insures maximum isolation between the individual outputs. The ptf 1231A offers 12 outputs. Options are available for a 2U/3.5” version (ptf 1230A) with 24 outputs.Isolation from output to output is >-40 dB. The input also offers DCV for biasing an active antenna.

When the sensor is installed with the arrow directed to ground, the detected voltage signal (Vout) has the same phase of the input current (Iin).
