The Geotech Model S-230 is a high resolution, 1-component, force balanced accelerometer capable of meeting the noise and stability requirements of the most demanding seismic studies. It features a very wide frequency response (DC to 90 Hz) and an internal calibration coil. Three S-230 accelerometers are packaged as a borehole 3-component unit (Model PA-23BH) and as a surface 3-component unit (Model PA-23). PA-23BH can be submerged up to 100 m depth.

The Brakemeter / Dynometer is a hand-made precision instrument that mechanically measures both deceleration and acceleration. The instrument consists of a finely balanced pendulum, free to respond to any changes in speed or angle, working through a quadrant gear train to rotate a needle round the dial. The dial is black with silver white graduations and has a linear length of 5 1/2 inches (114 mm). The unit is filled with a special fluid which damps out all vibration. Other than a calibration every 2 years, which is carried out by Bowmonk, no maintenance is necessary.

When it comes to choosing a transformer turns ratio tester, TRT Standard series offers some of the most advanced instruments with LCD display out in the market. Each model measures transformer excitation current and phase shift performs automatic vector group detection and magnetic balance on three-phase transformers and three-phase autotransformers. Furthermore, they have a built-in true three-phase power source. Because of that, TRT Standard instruments can test transformers with special configurations, such as phase-shifting, rectifier, arc-furnace, traction transformers, etc.The instruments can output test voltages from 1 V AC to 250 V AC, depending on the chosen model.
