Pickering's LXI 50Ω RF Matrix - 2.4GHz design permits any single Y input to be connected to any single X input, permitting the concurrent connection of 16 RF paths. All signal paths are bi-directional permitting any connection to be used as an input or an output. These matrices can be supplied in a variety of configurations based on Y axis sizes of 4, 8 and 16 and X axis sizes up to 32. The smaller matrix sizes in the range are factory reconfigurable up to the maximum size.

The 4-way series of absorptive and reflective switches operate from 100 MHz to 16 GHz. They are rated at 200 mW maximum input power and have a switching time of 100 ns. SP4T switches that operate up to 8 GHz have a maximum VSWR of 1.6:1 and minimum isolation of 60 dB. All absorptive and reflective switches manufactured by Pulsar Microwave require both positive and negative 5-volt supplies. Additionally, the TTL control logic operates from 0 to +5 VDC. Voltage connection is made with feed thru terminals. Ground connection is made through the chassis and turret terminals.

Analog Devices offers RF Front-End ICs for phased array antenna solutions. These RF Front-End ICsare placed right at the antenna element and can quickly switch between transmit and receive functions in radar applications. The power amplifier on the transmit side is highly efficient operating in short pulse durations.
