The PCIe-HDV62 is a PCI Express frame grabber offering uncompressed image acquisition and video streaming in full 1080p HD.The ADLINK PCIe-HDV62 provides 1920x1080p resolution, progressive scan, and noise reduction for greater image quality. Equipped with a field programmable gate array (FPGA) and 512 MB memory buffer, the PCIe-HDV62 offers the ability to stream uncompressed image to the host PC, in addition to color space conversion in real-time via on-board hardware in order to offload repetitive tasks from the host CPU. Video Distribution Amplifiers (sometimes called a video splitter – not to be confused with a video split screen controller such as our PXD510E split screen controller) are typically used for connecting a camera or other video source to several monitors that do not have “looping” inputs. In this situation, each monitor has a permanent 75 ohm termination. With two non-looping monitors connected together, the line would be double loaded and result in a dim picture on each monitor. Using a Video Distribution Amplifier will solve this problem by driving each monitor individually at 100%.
