The HVG-2020A is very flexible and can provide both analog and digital output to easily integrate into process control. A wide variety of linear analog output signals may be selected. This makes the HVG-2020A an excellent choice to replace more expensive capacitance manometers. Digital output can include RS232 and RS485 via a small jack on the top of the instrument. The LS-44-QBS contains up to 4 Lumistar LS-40-DB25 Bit Synchronizer Daughterboards in a 1U RackMount chassis with status lights on the front panel and all interconnections through the rear. The design contains an internal computer which runsoff DOS or Windows depending on the version selected. The DOS version boots quickly without the delays required for Windows startup. The Windows version offers networking. The unit can be connected directly to the optional 1U slideout keyboard/display, for setup resulting in only 2U of total rack height. For applications that require many bit synchronizers, a 1U keyboard/Display with KVM switch allows 32 bit synchronizers in 9U of rack height. When power is applied, the computer will operate with the last configuration unless the operator wishes to change the setup. For setup, the keyboard/display is pulled out and the display is flipped up to monitor the process. When the bit synchronizer setup is completed, the keyboard/display canbe closed up since the status can be monitored on the front panel without an external display.

The powerful display allows users to group the devices in a simple device tree, Device/Port/Type, or Bus/Device/Function numbers. All register field descriptions are displayed by selecting the individual fields. Each register value in a single PCIe component's register can be read and if writable can be modified. The user can decode and change each bit value of any register on the fly using the built-in the PCIe specification display referenced for all registers. The extended register for M-PCIe is also decoded and displayed for devices supporting that specification. The PCIe/NVMe configuration space info on one system can be saved and later compared to a different system by loading a saved configuration onto a second system. Searching is available for locating PCIe devices. Other features include Auto Scan, Configuration Space View, Specification decoding for standard registers.
