RF One Power Meter
The RF One Power Meter is a very versatile instrument covering both analog and digital carriers in an extremely wide frequency range from 30MHz to 6GHz. The RF One is capable of measuring forward and reflected power in the range of a few milliwatts up to 500 Watts. The internal operating system controls measurement, display and the I/Os allowing serial communication to PC, USB to memory stick and USB Serial communication. The I/O options are used to write plots to either memory sticks or to a connected PC, the I/Os can also be used to operate the instrument, giving commands and receiving data. For documentation reference the instrument has a real time clock. Multilayer menus are used to setup and control the operation of parameters. The RF One instrument is small, handy and light weight battery operated with more than 3 hours of continuous operation on the internal NiMh cells. Up to 40 controllers may be independently powered and monitored for functionality using the process test interface of the Optimum WinAOS application. Each part may have 2 separate biases featuring both current and voltage monitoring. Independent test is implemented through a standard JTAG interface. A separate serial clock and command interface may be used if required to provide device initialization sequences. The inputs are software configurable to provide one 32-bit wide channel, one 16-bit wide channel with double depth or two 16-bit channels. When configured with a single 16-bit input, the card will capture at up to 120 MHz. When configured with two 16-bit inputs or as a single 32-bit input, the card will capture at up to 80 MHz. Each digital data channel requires three timing signals, frame, line and pixel to accommodate the data capture. When operating in a two channel mode, clocks from channel A can be used to provide timing to channel B. For wider words or multiple channels, more boards can be used in parallel.
