The 40-787 Microwave BRIC platform is designed to provide a solution for complex RF matrix applications. Using a common mechanical platform the module can be constructed to provide scalable non-blocking or blocking microwave matrix for frequencies to at least 20GHz. The standard configurations provide up to a 4x4 matrix. More complex matrix can be constructed by adding further switching functions and other devices inside the module.

The two banks may be used for operating a 4-wire measurement system (bank-1 for source, bank-2 for measure). The 40-877-102 is a 50Ω 2x2 RF matrix with 2 banks in a single PXI slot. Loop-thru connections are provided on both the X and Y axis allowing the attachment of terminations for unused signals or for expansion to other matrices.
