PXI/PXIe LVDT/RVDT/Resolver Simulator Module, 4-Banks
41-670-001-AABBCC
Simulator
The 41/43-670-001 is ideal for the simulation of variable differential transformers (VDT), both linear (LVDT) and rotary (RVDT) types, as well as resolvers. It has four banks, each capable of simulating the output of a single 5 or 6-wire VDT or resolver, or dual 4-wire utilizing a shared excitation signal. This allows the module to simulate up to 4 channels of 5 or 6-wire or 8 channels of 4-wire.

VDT/Resolver Simulation Module for SLSC
Simulator
Bloomy's VDT/Resolver Simulation Module offers eight channels of variable differential transformer (VDT) sensor simulation at an unmatched price point. Its highly-flexible nature allows each channel to be configured independently for simulation of a linear variable differential transformer (LVDT), a rotary variable differential transformer (RVDT), or a resolver. Versatile, separate E1 and E2 returns allow each channel to be connected in a 4-, 5- or 6-wire configuration. The included VeriStand SLSC driver also allows each channel to simulate two 4-wire sensors where shared excitation is acceptable.

A linear variable differential transformer (LVDT) is a type of electrical transformer/transducer used for measuring linear displacement (position). A counterpart to this device used for measuring rotary displacement is called a rotary variable differential transformer (RVDT). The RVDT is like an LVDT in that it measures a positional displacement, however, the displacement, which is still a linear proportional function, is based on rotary instead of linear positional movement.

PXIe-4340, PXI Displacement Input Module
785068-01
Displacement Input
The PXI Displacement Input Module supports 4-, 5-, and 6-wire AC linear variable differential transformer (LVDT) and AC rotary variable differential transformer (RVDT) measurements. The module simultaneously samples each analog input and sets the excitation frequency and voltage for each channel independently. You can set different timing, triggering, and sampling modes for each channel independently. Diagnostic features include self-calibration, overcurrent detection, and open coil detection. The PXI Displacement Input Module includes the NI-DAQmx driver and configuration utility that simplify configuration and measurements. NI-DAQmx supports NI programming environments as well as Python, ANSI C, C#.NET, and MathWorks MATLAB® software.

P104 LVDT/RVDT Measurement Board
73LD4
-
NAI’s 73LD4 is a PC104-compliant LVDT/RVDT Measurement Board with six separate transformer-isolated channels. The channels can incorporate up to six programmable LVDT/RVDT-to-Digital Tracking Converters in a stack-through module. Each channel is programmable for 2-, 3-, or 4-wire inputs that automatically range between 2.0 volts and 28 volts, so there is no need to purchase multiple boards set for specific inputs. Operating frequency between 360 Hz and 10 kHz can be specified. Each channel also produces differential incremental encoder (A & B) outputs with programmable resolution and a zero-degree marker pulse.
