The RJ Series of computer controlled switching systems are designed for physical layer switching of multiwire signals on RJ style connectors. Since the system uses mechanical relays it acts exactly like a piece of cable which makes it perfect for testing networks without altering the signals or regeneration. These systems are typically used for Ethernet LAN 10BaseT through 1000BaseT, DSL including ASML through GFAST, CAT5 through CAT6A cable testing, USB up to 2.0, RS232, RS422, RS485 up to 8 wire at 20 Mbps and many other applications switched over RJ45 connectors up to 8 wires. The 63000 Series offers models in two operating voltages 150V models, with 250W and 350W power levels up to 60A in a single unit. Each model of the 63000 Series has unique user-def ined waveform (UDW) funct ion capable of simulating real-world custom waveforms. In addition, a data storage function has been built in for saving and recalling up to 100 stored settings at any time. For automated testing, these save and recall functions can save a great deal of time. The 63000 Series has 3 power ranges that can precisely measure the voltage and current in real time. Since short circuit testing is a critical test item, the 63000 provides short circuit simulation to effectively address application demands for power and automated testing.

The Automatic Wire Test Set (AWTS) is automated test equipment that aids wiring diagnostics of electrical and electronic devices. The Test Control Unit (TCU) uses resistance measurements, capacitance measurements, and AC/DC voltage measurements to perform continuity, insulation, and isolation tests. The AWTS Laptop CPU, hereafter referred to as CPU, controls the AWTS. The Eclypse Language Integrated Test Environment (ELITE) is application software that controls the TCU. The majority of the hardware for a test is contained in the TCU. The 128pin connector on the TCU front panel provides 128 energizable test points. Switch Modules (SM) can be connected in sequence or daisy chained to the TCU and provide an additional 1024 test points; 128 of those are energizable.
