QSFP28 cable options include passive direct attach cables (DAC), active electrical cables (AEC), or active optical cables (AOC). Passive DAC and AOC are rated for industry standard transmission speeds and protocols, such as 100 GbE, for QSFP28. Passive DAC may support custom transmission speeds and protocols. The QSFP28 cable is offered in different lengths.
