The Model HR-3P is a serial control device that can automatically detect video on one of its 3 video inputs and issue commands to the projector (e.g. turn on, select input, etc). The video inputs are VGA from a PC or a Notebook and 2 TV-signals (Composite Video and S-Video) from VCR, DVD, Satellite Receiver, or Video Cameras. The HR-3P provides pass-through video for the S-Video and Composite Video and has a 1 in x 2 out video splitter for the VGA. The unit features a bi-directional RS-232 serial port that can be used for programming command strings for your specific projector and later connected to the projector for control and normal operation. An innovative technique for expanding the number of channels per fiber involves an optical device, called an optical interleaver. For example, in most DWDM equipment, the standard channel spacing is 100 GHz. But spacing the signal-carrying frequencies every 50 or even 25 GHz can double or even quadruple the number of channels per fiber. This job is accomplished by an optical interleaver. Such a device takes two multiplexed signals with 100-GHz spacing and interleaves them, creating a DWDM signal with channels spaced 50 GHz apart. The process can be repeated, creating even denser composite signals with 25-GHz or 12.5-GHz spacing. The signals at the receiving end are recovered with the same devices used as splitters or optical de-interleavers. Thus, devices and/or networks can be upgraded without requiring that all devices be upgraded, or network bandwidth can be increased.

The Keysight 10736A Three Axis Interferometer is used in multiple axis applications where linear and angular control of the stage is required. It combines in a single package the functionality of an optical bench with multiple beam benders, beam splitters, and three interferometers.
