A single power and a single ground wire is all that is needed to connect as many as six Sensors. The Sensor Six-Pack will accommodate any combination of the pre-programmed Universal LightProbe Sensor models, which can then be paired with a wide variety of Fiber-optic Probes to customize for a specific test. Resistance welding uses a pair of electrodes to clamp two base metals firmly together prior to and during application of electrical current. Poorly clamped parts result in a defective joint. A correctly clamped assembly aids in reducing the resistance in the joint and allows the current flow to properly heat the base metals to weld the part.
