The 60-801-012 is a 6-channel, 12-bank RF multiplexer suitable for switching 50Ω signals up to 6GHz. It is part of a range of LXI Microwave Multiplexers which are available with bandwidths between 6GHz and 40GHz and support for between 1 and 16 banks of 4 or 6-channel multiplexers. It is ideal for constructing complex microwave switching systems for many applications. Connection is by high performance front panel mounted SMA or SMA-2.9 connectors.

Larger matrices may be constructed by Daisy Chaining the common signals from multiple PXI modules. For example, seven PXI modules will form a 224x8 Matrix, a total of 1792 crosspoints in a 7-slot PXI Chassis.

The 65-280-360 2x2 matrix is part of the 65-280 and 65-281 ranges of optical plug-in modules offering matrix & insert/bypass or multiplexer & SPST topologies respectively with all models based on MEMS fiber optic switches and available in various populations per plugin. In addition, a choice of different connector styles to suit most applications is offered: FC/APC (for optimal performance), FC/PC, SC/PC and ST for general applications and LC for high density applications. They use MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical-Systems) based optical switches to route signals between terminals by redirecting the optical signal. This is achieved using micromechanical mirrors driven by a highly precise mechanism activated via an electrical control signal.
