This model is used in Diesel Smog Programs in Nevada and Colorado when combined with an approved opacity meter. The MD-250-M is a compact dynamometer with industry proven design features including 10.7-inch rollers, heavy duty spherical pillow-block ball bearings, welded structural steel frame, 7.5 hp calibration motor, and an industry standard air-cooled, Eddy Current Power Absorption Unit (PAU) for road-load simulation.
