Pressure Test Pump is a hand operated pressure pump designed to generate pressure from 95% vacuum to 1,500psi (100bar). A high-quality screw press is designed for fine pressure adjustment, with an adjustment resolution up to 10 Pa (0.1 mbar). A specially designed shut-off valve makes the pressure as stable as possible during calibration. A built-in gas-liquid isolator protects the pump from moisture and dirt to reduce the need for maintenance. Two hand-tight quick connectors installed on the pump allow easy connecting and disconnecting to the test pump without the need for PTFE tape or wrenches. This device is according to the IEC60320-1 standard requirement to design. Appliance inlets designed for surface mounting and having a shroud of metal, are compressed in an appropriate test apparatus, an example of which is shown in figure 20. The spherical end of the jaws shall have a radius of 20mm±1mm. A force of 40N±2N shall be applied for 60s±6s through the jaws to the most unfavourable point half-way up the outer surface of the shroud, in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the shroud. After the test, there shall be no deformation or loosening of the shroud such as will impair the further use of the appliance inlet.

The constant pressure device enables the stable supply of materials to the stuffing machine by keeping constant the pressure to the materials in the pipe fed from the pump to the stuffing machine side by air pressure. When the materials being fed from the pump, the surplus materials unnecessary to be stuffed shall be sent into the constant pressure cylinder. And when the constant pressure cylinder is full, the supply from the pump shall be stopped and then the materials in the cylinder shall be discharged into the pipe by constant pressure. Accordingly, it is unnecessary to synchronize the stuffing speed with the pump speed by every product. Also, the pressure shortagegenerated when the pump motor starts and the effect of pressure fluctuation in the pipe due to the changes of the speeds of the pump motor and stuffing machine can be minimized so that it is possible to supply stably the materials to plural stuffing machines.
