Testing your ESD Wrist Strap system before handling electrostatic sensitive is extremely important. ESD events can go unnoticed by feel and sight. While a static discharge into a door knob (we’ve all done it!) can be thousands of volts, an ESD event can be as little as 10V, and you will not feel this.
