ADLINIK PXI-2501 and PXI-2502 are high-speed, high-performance analog output multifunction PXI modules. These devices are able to update up to 8-CH, 12-bit analog outputs imultaneously sustaining 1 MS/s. The reference sources and output polarities are programmable individually per channel. Combine this with the multiplying PXI architecture, ADLINK PXI-2500 series PXI modules can generate complex modulated analog signals. The hardware-based arbitrary waveform generation frees CPU intervention even when all analog outputs are updating at full speed, and the lengths of waveforms are only limited by the system memory. The PXI-2500 series integrate up to 8-CH, 400 kS/s, 14-bit single-ended analog inputs with programmable polarity, 24-CH programmable digital I/O lines, and 2-CH 16-bit general-purpose timer/counters.

Computer on Modules and System on Modules are complete embedded computers with a computer processor, chipset, memory, and peripherals designed into a single board with a small footprint. They integrate the complete functions of a computer in to a single module. Both COMs and SOMs are types of single board computers except the fact that both of these are required to be mounted on a carrier board/base board which breaks the bus out to standard peripheral connectors as COM/SOM lacks the standard connectors for any input/output peripherals to be attached directly to the board. Carrier boards can implement special I/O interfaces, additional memory devices, and connectors according to the application requirements. Optoplex's Reconfigurable Optical Add/Drop Multiplexer (ROADM) module, also known as Tunable Optical Add/Drop Multiplexer (TOADM), is based on a proprietary micro-optics and micro-actuator design, athermal packaging technology, and state-of-the-art thin-film coating. When receiving a stream of optical signals of a plurality of wavelengths from the Input-Port (IN), this 3-port ROADM device directs a selected channel to the Drop-Port (ADD/DROP) and the remaining channels to the Express-Port (EXP), as depicted in the figure below. This tunable feature can also be used for adding a channel, when the device is used in reverse. Cascading two ROADM modules, simultaneous add and drop functions can be achieved. Each single ROADM device is optimized to cover either C- or L-band wavelengths. The standard 100- or 200-GHz channel spacing ROADM products allow for single-channel drop. Customized banded-channel drop ROADMs are available upon request.
