The Doppler Current Profiler Sensor (DCPS) is a medium-range, 600kHz current profiler smart sensor. It offers high-quality ocean current measurements and is ideally suited for cabling directly to various systems or dataloggers via serial or AiCap bus. This conduction cooled 6U CompactPCI dual slot PMC provides an active interface between the CompactPCI bus (backplane) and a PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC). This product addresses the needs of aerospace, military, and rugged applications. It contains a thermal heat frame made of aluminum that fits together with conduction cooled PMC modules. Conduction cooling conducts heat away from the hot spots of the board and transfers the heat to the card edges and to the system chassis. No active ventilation is necessary inside of the system, which means the boards are sealed from the environmental influences found outside of the chassis. The heat frame and integrated wedge locks for the conduction cooling stiffens the carrier and PMC module enabling the board to resist high shock and vibration.

This high bandwidth differential fault insertion module is designed to simulate common faults on high speed two wire communication interfaces such as Ethernet. This module supports 4 or 8-channels of two wire serial connections and can be used for simulating faults on Ethernet, AFDX, BroadR-Reach, 100BaseT and 1000BaseT interfaces. Any wire can be set to an open circuit, shorts can be applied across the wire pair, or to the adjacent pair. Fault connections can be made to one of four external signals via two fault buses, typically simulating connections to a supply voltage or ground. Each fault bus is capable of carrying 2A allowing multiple channels to be connected to the same fault condition. Additionally, each fault bus features a changeover relay to allow the user to connect alternative fault conditions to the fault buses.
