PXI FlexRIO IF Transceiver

The PXI FlexRIO IF Transceiver combines analog I/O and a user-programmable FPGA into a single, customizable instrument. The instrument enables direct RF acquisition up to 6 GHz. You can use the instrument in a dual-channel mode at 3.2 GS/s or in a single-channel interleaved mode at 6.4 GS/s. The PXI FlexRIO IF Transceiver uses FPGAs from Xilinx alongside LabVIEW and Vivado programming options for custom algorithm implementation and real-time signal processing. Using this instrument with NI-TClk, you can synchronize modules in one or more PXI chassis at up to picosecond‐level accuracy for high‐channel‐count applications.

Analog Devices’ RS-232/RS-485 multiprotocol transceivers are the only parts in the market that allow protocol switching and allow for switching between half-/full-duplex operation and switching on/off termination resistors, both of which minimize physical user intervention when reconfiguring networks. Features include 3.3 V to 5 V operation, up to ±26 kV ESD, a logic supply pin, and small LFCSP packages. As large-scale computing applications typically require more protocols than the RS-232 and RS-485 protocols found in everyday applications, we support legacy protocols. The Waveform Generation Tool provides a simplified interface for baseband modulation of Keysight's wide bandwidth signal simulation solutions, for signals with up to 1 GHz RF bandwidth. Even the most complex signals are defined and implemented easily through the software interface. Signals can be defined through basic parameter entry or from files created in MATLAB or other engineering environments. For each selection in the main menu, a subsequent screen appears, enabling the user to enter the parameters required to define the waveform and invoke the built-in calibration routines. A display on each sub-panel shows the ideal frequency domain waveform calculated from entered parameters. A simulation mode is provided to enable development and operation without connection to the instrument hardware.

The JT 2149/MPV and the JT 2149/eMPV are a 32 channel multi purpose DIOS/TAP pod modules/interfaces that can be plugged into any spare JT 2148 QuadPOD transceiver slot. The DIOS channels of these units I/O interface pods enable increased fault coverage and thus improved diagnostic resolution during boundary-scan testing. The principal difference between the two versions is the use of an extended case on the eMPV that allows standard 0.1″ connections to be used to access ths TAP and static IO signals (see tab below)- on the standard /MPV unit these signals are available at the front face 0.05″ connector. The units are fully supported by JTAG Technologies’ development tools. Additional DIOS modules can be serially connected if more parallel access points are required.
