Encore offers a complete line of General Purpose Signal Conditioning instrumentation to meet even the most demanding requirements. Packaged as interchangeable two-channel plug-in modules, Encore’s broad product line includes frequency to voltage converters, strain gage amplifiers, accelerometer conditioners, digital voltmeters and DC power supplies. All of our systems feature a common CAL input on the rear of the rack which allows for calibration of the entire rack. Calibration function varies based on the modules installed. For example, the Model 633 applies a shunt calibration resistor across the bridge, while the Model 149 applies a reference charge source to the input. The TECAT WISER Model 8000 dual strain measurement and monitoring system is a wireless data acquisition system for measuring two external strain channels at high data rates up to 8kHz. The small, light, power-efficient, and non-invasive design enables strain measurements in a wide range of applications. With dual external sensor inputs two Micro-Measurements strain gauge bridges can be measured by a single system, for example to measure both thrust and torque loads simultaneously.The Model 8000 has a long range data transmission of >1,000 meters with up to +/- 0.025% FSR sensitivity for remote measurements. After initial setup using the WISER software interface, the system can be wired directly to your DAQ system, for seamless data collection.

These COD gages use a high-temperature capacitive sensor and do not require any cooling. They will operate up to the maximum temperature limit of most environmental chambers used in materials testing. The Model 7641 is ideal for determination of fracture mechanics parameters such as JIC, KIC, R-curve, fatigue crack growth rate (da/dN), and testing to standards such as E1820, E399, E647, etc. All units can be displaced slightly in compression for ease of installation. The COD gage is supplied with the advanced DT6229 controller. The standard output is 0-10VDC analog signal, factory calibrated with the COD gage. This system provides a number of functional enhancements, including: high speed digital output, built in calibration and tare functions, analog and digital filters, and more. The 7641 is readily interfaced with most existing test controllers, and may be directly connected to a data acquisition system or chart recorder, or directly to a PC. The 7641 may be used for strain controlled tests such as JIC.
