The M4i.77xx-x8 series digital waveform acquisition (logic-analyzer) cards include versions with 32 synchronous channels, either single-ended with programmable threshold levels or differential. The large onboard memory can be segmented to record different waveform sequences. While the M4i.77xx cards have been designed using the latest technology they are still software compatible with the drivers from earlier Spectrum digital acquisition cards. Therefore existing customers can use the same software they developed for a 10 year old 60 MS/s digital input card also for an M4i.77xx series 720 MS/s logic analyzer.

The RF One Power Meter is a very versatile instrument covering both analog and digital carriers in an extremely wide frequency range from 30MHz to 6GHz. The RF One is capable of measuring forward and reflected power in the range of a few milliwatts up to 500 Watts. The internal operating system controls measurement, display and the I/Os allowing serial communication to PC, USB to memory stick and USB Serial communication. The I/O options are used to write plots to either memory sticks or to a connected PC, the I/Os can also be used to operate the instrument, giving commands and receiving data. For documentation reference the instrument has a real time clock. Multilayer menus are used to setup and control the operation of parameters. The RF One instrument is small, handy and light weight battery operated with more than 3 hours of continuous operation on the internal NiMh cells. The PCI592 is based on the Xilinx XCKU115 Kintex UltraScale FPGA, which provides 5,520 DSP slices, 75.9 Mb RAM and 1,451,000 logic cells. The FPGA interfaces directly to the FMC+ DP-23 and all FMC+ LA/HA/HB pairs, making it compatible with a wide range of industry standard VITA 57 modules. It also has interface to three DDR4 memory channels (2x 64-bit wide and 1x 32-bit wide). This allows for large buffer sizes to be stored during processing as well as for queuing the data to the host. The unit has x8 PCIe edge connector routed to the FPGA PCIe Gen3 hard IP block. In addition, 16 uncommitted connection pairs are routed to a dual x8 expansion connector, providing direct connectivity to a neighbouring FPGA (e.g. via Aurora, 10G/40G, SRIO, PCIe) without the need to go through the host.

The M4i.66xx-x8 series arbitrary waveform generators (AWG) deliver the highest performance in both speed and resolution. The series includes PCIe cards with either one, two or four synchronous channels. The large onboard memory can be segmented to replay different waveform sequences. The AWG features a PCI Express x8 Gen 2 interface that offers outstanding data streaming performance. The interface and Spectrum’s optimized drivers enable data transfer rates in excess of 2.8 GB/s so that signals can continuously replayed at a high output rate. While the cards have been designed using the latest technology they are still software compatible with the drivers from earlier Spectrum waveform generators. So, existing customers can use the same software they developed for a 10 year old 20 MS/s AWG card and for an M4i series 625 MS/s AWG.
