Noise Parameters are the non-50Ω extensions of Noise Figure, and are an important modeling and model validation tool to understand how a device-undertest’s performance changes as a function of source impedance. Noise Parameter measurements are typically performedusing a Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) to measure the S-Parameters of the DUT, and a Noise Analyzer (either Noise Figure Analyzer NFA or Spectrum Analyzer SA) to measure the noise power of the DUT. Noise parameters are calculated from a combination of knownsource impedances, S-parameters and noise powers.

The 835 VQM is a mass spectrometer that operates from UHV to 10-5 Torr and accurately measures the gases in the vacuum chamber. The 835 VQM Differential Pump System delivers the advantages of the 835 VQM at higher pressures. The VQM system consists of an autoresonant ion trap mass spectrometer gauge, a VQM Controller and VQM Viewer software that that converts raw data into actionable information. The system is ratiometric, meaning that it determines the ratio of each gas to other gases in a vacuum chamber. It is usually coupled with a total pressure gauge to provide partial pressures of each gas as indication of the quality of the vacuum in the chamber.

The CS-131 is a high-precision chemical concentration monitor designed for use with SC-1 solutions used in cleaning processes during semiconductor manufacturing. It offers a faster response speed in a more compact size than anything available to date. The CS-131 monitors the concentrations of the individual components of the SC-1 solutions (NH3/H2O2/H2O) which is widely used to remove particles and organic substances.
