The 40-780B-541 (PXI) and 42-780B-541 (PXIe) are single failsafe SPDT 40 GHz unterminated microwave relay modules. The 40/42-780B range is available with one, two, three or four SPDT switches capable of switching frequencies up to 67 GHz in 50 Ω or 2.5 GHz in 75 Ω. Connections are made via front panel mounted high quality RF coaxial connectors, SMA or N-Type for 50 Ω and 1.6/5.6 in 75 Ω versions. Remote versions are also available which can support up to three SPDT relays in a single slot.

Furnished with TNC female connectors all ports. A special feature of this unit is the 200 ohm internal load which provides a current drain for the GPS receiver not powering the active antenna. Some GPS receivers incorrectly sense an antenna fault when there is no current draw. The 200 ohm internal load provides a simulated antenna current drain which prevents receiver faulting. Max voltage rating at the DC blocked port is 15 VDC; maximum current rating is 75 mA. Max voltage rating at the DC pass port is 50 VDC; max current rating is 2000 mA.
