CVRT-S8 & S16 are ideal for automatic testing of ELECTRO MECHANICAL AND READ RELAYS (only DC relays) both for static and dynamic characteristics. This system scans at one stroke, all the parameters of the relay as per definition of test procedure. The test sequence can be pre-programmed and stored in the disk. You can select the tests as per your requirement. Can include or exclude the test and you can have several options to match your test definitions. Semi skilled person can be engaged for actual testing, as he need not make any settings and need not interpret the readings. The system conducts the tests and gives PASS / FAIL indication on overall test results. The voltmeter included in the kit, the “Model IA” voltmeter, is designed for ease of use by meter readers and corrosion technicians alike and the voltmeter comes with an integrated RE-5 reference electrode attached for “metallic structure-to-soil” potential difference readings. The kit also includes a special test lead that has a brass thumb screw on one end which allows the test lead to substitute for the RE-5 reference electrode. This substitution allows the voltmeter to take “structure-to-structure” potential difference readings. The voltmeter offers a 0 - 2VDC range with a 10MΩ input impedance and the analog display presents a color divided scale for convenient indication as to whether or not a carbon-steel structure is receiving a suitable level of cathodic protection, with respect to the accepted 0.85V (850mV) threshold value.
