Integrated Gas Alarm & Control System
MCX-32
Teledyne Gas & Flame Detection
The MCX-32 controller features a flexible design that allows the user to customize a system by choosing from a selection of individually addressable field devices or use addressable input and output modules. Detcon’s full range of gas sensors (purchased separately) can be used to create a gas detection system consisting of toxic gas, combustible gas, and/or oxygen deficiency. A wide range of field devices such as liquid level, temperature, pressure, flow, etc., can also be configured for input to the control system. Four standard I/O modules are available: a 4-channel 4-20mA input module (DA-4), a 4-alarm relay output module (RL-4), a 4-channel 4-20mA output module (AO-4), and a 4-relay contact input module (DI-4). I/O modules are din-rail mounted and stackable allowing for seamless system expansion. The I/O modules may be mounted within the main system enclosure or in separate enclosures suitable for the area classification where installation will occur. In many cases using distributed I/O nodes can significantly reduce wiring and installation costs.

Industrial Gas Detector
OLCT 60
Teledyne Gas & Flame Detection
The OLCT 60AD version allows the sensor to be installed remotely up to 15 meters (standard), allowing detection in inaccessible locations, or in Zone 0 in the case of the intrinsically safe (IS) version. The detector units are made of 316L stainless steel, and are rugged and resistant to corrosion. Pre-calibrated sensors can be disconnected by turning the head of the unit. These “smart” sensors can be calibrated outside hazardous areas. The OLCT 60 is equipped with non-intrusive access to a safe menu. In hazardous areas, calibration can be done with an operating mode in accordance with safety rules.

Fixed Gas Detectors
OLCT 10 - OLC 10
Teledyne Gas & Flame Detection
The OLC 10 and OLCT 10 are designed to detect combustible or toxic gases for tertiary applications (boiler plants, battery charging rooms, car parks, hospitals). Two OLC 10's can be connected to one detection channel to monitor the same area, without an additional junction box or extra wiring. Similarly, up to five OLCT 10's can be connected to one channel for the detection of CO, NO or NO₂ in a car park application. Easy to install and operate, these detectors combined with the MX 16 control unit meet demanding user requirements.

Control Unit
MX 256
Teledyne Gas & Flame Detection
The MX 256 is a digital control unit intended for the detection and measurement of gases present in the atmosphere and more generally for the processing of any digital signal from digital sensors (OLCT 10N types), relay module, analog output module, logic input module. Thanks to its new option, an industrial controller module or remote HMI, it is possible to add analog input modules for sensor-transmitter connection (4-20 mA) and / or relay modules, this allows to not only extend the capacities but also to have event recordings (Location, Alarms,.....) and to have access to the data via the embedded web page.

Open Path Combustible Gas Detector
SafEye (Quasar 900)
Teledyne Gas & Flame Detection
The Open Path Combustible system detects hydrocarbon gases by analyzing the absorption of radiation caused by gases in the atmosphere and comparing it to background atmospheric absorption. This is accomplished between a pair of units: a Flash Source and a Detector that can monitor a distance of up to 200 meters.Open Path Combustible Gas Detectors are robustly designed and can handle the toughest environments: 316L stainless steel housings that meet IP66/IP68 and NEMA 250 6P egress standards; circuit boards epoxy coated for protection; MIL-C-810C testing for humidity, salt, fog, vibration, mechanical shock and temperature extremes; and SIL-2 approval per IEC61508 is a final statement in reliability.
