The VT Series 63 vacuum test kits provide both an affordable and versatile solution for printed circuit board testing requiring vacuum actuation and a Genrad 2270/71 interface. The VT Series 63 kits, available in Single and Dual Well models, incorporate a robust design which includes a variety of chassis sizes and depths for additional hardware and components used in Functional Test. Tooling holes on both the top diaphragm plate and probe plate for accurate drill datum. The interface will accommodate up to 11 I/O blocks with a single vacuum port.

The Camgate ™ series test fixtures provide ‘Z’ axis motion and, with the optional floating top plate, makes this series ideal for top side probing. The floating push plate is accurately registered with two tooling/guide pins. The top plate mounting frame is adjustable in .500″ (12.7mm) increments to accommodate top side probing in the lower position, or clearance for PCA’s with tall components in the middle or top position, without the need for riser blocks. Camgate fixtures are available with the most widely used interfaces in the test industry.

LThe GR Series 453 CAMGATE mechanical kits, utilizing the patented CAM mechanism, offer precise Z axis linear motion when testing higher point count and finer pitch test centers. By using the Z axis motion, side load of the test probes is minimized thus increasing probe life and performance. The Series 453 provides interface compatibility using the GR2270 Style, 12 block interface. This interface accepts the industry standard I/O, power, and coax blocks. The CAM/GATE utilizes a cam roller system for precision guiding and smooth operation and 1.00” push plate movement. The gate assembly is movable to three different positions which allows for the versatility of top side probing, or relocating the frame assembly for PCA’s the have tall components.

The Series 48 Universal Test Fixture Systems are an effective way to test high mix, low to medium volume products. The Universal Base is designed around the CAMGATE Z axis Test Fixture. The base interfaces with removable, quick change Series 49 Universal Test Insert Kits. Three versions are offered, a blank base whereas the end user can configure the Base and insert kit to their own connector configuration, The 160 point model which uses four (40) pin IDC ribbon cable connectors to interface between the base and the insert kit, and the -I model that incorporates the same 4 block GR2270 style block interface as used on our Series 34 test fixtures. This allows for increased test point count and the use of Industry Standard 2270 style signal, power, and coax blocks. Rear panels can be custom configured to customer specifications, Virginia Panel ITA frames, or GR2270 Interfaces used on Semco’s Standard Product line
