DGS-65 Customer Acceptance Panel for both testing and trouble- shooting. We have added an option to the panel that allows you to select an analog slaving meter or the LED monitor lights as shown in the maintenance manual Fig. 5-14. The addition of the meter provides the technician with a more visible means to monitor the slaving "trend". The 50 pin DG connector is broken out on the panel to assist in monitoring or isolating unit signals.

The TA-3C test fixture is a combination of the KMD540 testing requirements and the RDR-2000/2100 weather radar interface requirements. This panel allows the technician to test the KMD540 MFD as a stand alone item (with external simulators) or together with a radar sensor for a dynamic real time test. The panel includes the required switching for sensor alignment and KMD testing along with input jacks for the required data inputs. Also built into the fixture is an analog gyro simulator for checking the stabilization functions of the sensor. The full enclosure comes in standard panel width.

This weather radar test fixture is a combination of the established WXT-250 series fixture and the RDR-2000 and RDR-2100 radars so that a single panel will provide many features that are still required today. The gyro simulator built into the panel is usable for either radar being tested and eliminate's plugging in any external simulator. The features for both product lines as shown in their respecting CMM's are provided on the panel so that full testing and alignment of these radars and their system components can be tested and/or evaluated. This NAV test fixture is specific to the requirements for testing Becker Avionics NAV, RMI and RMU products. The panel incorporates specific functionality required for testing these Becker products by the book including special requirements for the RMU 5000 and the IN 3300 series of nav indicators. This BAEE NAV test fixture also facilitates resolver alignment and discrete meter testing through the PG 3300 interface connector. The RM 3300 portion of the panel tests the Becker RMI indicators and allows for sourcing the composite signal from the paired radio or from an external generator. The DME channeling outputs are monitored with discrete LED's as well as the ILS, V/LOC, Glideslope and NAV TEST valids. Discrete test jacks are provided for all the meters and the resolver of the NAV indicator and a dimming source is also provided. When testing the RMU 5000 computer access is through a dedicated connector.

ADI Test Fixture

The TA-6500 test fixture combines the features of the OEM's Instrument Servo Tester(T307962), the Pointer/Flag Test Fixture(T307951) and the AD-650/600 Test Panel(T334043) all into one panel to facilitate testing of these Attitude Director Indicator's. The panel switches and adjustment pots are labeled to match the test procedure numbers and the duplicity in marking makes it easier for the technician to understand each function. The UUT interface is through a 96 pin zero insertion force(ZIF) type connector to minimize contact wear. The expanded localizer and nav input pins J2-34/35 are exposed on the panel to facilitate the insertion of a 200 ohm shunt when required. The fixtures rear panel has connectors for the required dual API/Synchro transmitter interface while the panel switches provide the correct routing of each.

Universal Heading and Track Selector Panel This panel provides a synchro transmitter for Heading and a synchro resolver for Nav converter alignment. The synchros are mounted on industry standard 18:1 dual speed drives for maximum accuracy and repeatability. This unit can be used to calibrate both manual and automatic converters. This panel provides a rear mounted interface connector as well as front mounted tip jacks for independent breakout if so desired. The TA-260 also provides two discrete switches associated with the resolver configuration. The 30Hz/400Hz switch is provided to allow the resolver to be properly compensated for the type of Nav converter to be aligned. The second switch allows you to open or short the resolver rotor lead as may be required by some newer GPS equipment. This panel is lightweight enough for portable use or may be rack mounted.
