Cryogenic Temperature Sensors
Capacitance
-
CS capacitance sensors are ideally suited for use as cryogenic temperature control sensors in strong magnetic fields because they exhibit virtually no magnetic field dependence. Displacement current is not affected by magnetic fields. Consequently, temperature control fluctuations are kept to a minimum when sweeping magnetic field or when changing field values under constant temperature operation.

MeasureLINK™ Software
-
MeasureLINK executes sequences of user-defined experimental steps that can include setting field and temperature levels as well as sourcing and measuring electrical signals. Steps also generate the user interfaces needed to gather inputs before running experiments. You can select steps from MeasureLINK’s editor.

Cryogenic Probe Station
CPX-VF
-
The Lake Shore CPX-VF probe station enhances the standard probe station capabilities with the addition of a ±2.5 T vertical field superconducting magnet. It can do all the standard C-V, I-V, microwave, and electro-optical probing of the CPX, plus out-of-plane vertical field superconducting magnetic measurements. Researchers can use it to perform Hall effect measurements and test magneto-transport parameters. The CPX-VF is one of Lake Shore’s premium probe stations for combining microwave measurements with magnetic field.

Programmable DC Current Source
Model 121
-
The Model 121 programmable DC current source is a precision instrument suitable for bench-top use or panel-mounted operation in labs, test facilities, and manufacturing environments. It provides a low-noise, highly stable source of current up to 100 mA, with convenient manual selection through 13 pre-set output levels, each representing a ten-fold change in power when attached to a resistive load. A “user” setting allows the current output to be defined anywhere within the operating range of the unit, from 100 nA to 100 mA.
