The Bosch Sensortec BME680 Integrated Environmental Unit combines a gas sensor with air pressure, humidity, and ambient air temperature sensing functions within a single package for high performance air quality measurement. The ColorPAL is a miniature color and light sensor which, through its RGB LED, doubles as a color generator. For sensing color, the ColorPAL uses its LED to illuminate a sample, one color component at a time, along with a broad-spectrum light-to-voltage converter to measure the light reflected back. The amount of light reflected from the sample under illumination from each red, green, and blue LED can be used to determine the sample’s color. The ColorPAL works with non-fluorescent reflective surfaces, preferably those in contact with its light shroud.

Parallax has worked with the Melexis 90217 sensor in applications including CNC milling machine spindle speed measurement and feedback on motor RPM. With the CNC milling machine it reliably measured the top spindle speed of 7,500 RPM. This is a cost-effective and highly functional hall-effect sensor. The Melexis 90217 is designed to be used with a bias magnet (#605-00006) south facing the back (non-marked) side of the IC. With a single Hall plate, this sensor is immune to common rotary alignment problems. Very easy to interface with all microcontrollers.

The Altimeter Module MS5607 is a high resolution (20 cm) electronic altimeter sensor that gives highly accurate altitude, pressure, and temperature readings. The module includes a high-linearity barometric pressure sensor and a high-resolution temperature output, allowing implementation of an altimeter/thermometer without any additional sensors. Different operation modes allow the user to optimize for conversion speed or current consumption.
