ACS
-
As specialist manufacturers of electro-hydraulic actuation and control equipment we offer comprehensive, purpose designed, engineered and manufactured solutions for the operation of choke and control valves for onshore and offshore installations. The electro-hydraulic stepping actuator provides a cost effective alternative solution to the mechanical ratchet style mechanism occasionally used for the positioning control of choke valves.

RH
-
Rack and pinion actuators often offer the most economical solution for quarter-turn valves that have a fairly constant torque requirement throughout the stroke.

GP/GH
-
GP (pneumatic) and GH (hydraulic) range scotch yoke actuators are designed to provide a rotary, quarter-turn movement for either on/off or modulating duty. The rugged yet compact design is available with two different yoke designs. The classic symmetric yoke delivers peak torque at both ends of stroke. Alternatively, they can be supplied with canted torque arms designed to deliver peak torque at only one end of stroke. Use of canted arms can often reduce actuator size, weight and cost for valves with appropriate torque demand characteristics.

ELB Line Break Detection System
-
Rotork’s ELB (Electronic Line Break) is a robust self-contained electronic pipeline monitoring system designed for use in the gas & oil industry. It will continuously monitor pipeline pressure dynamics to provide early detection of pipeline breaks and initiate automatic valve actuator movement to an emergency position based upon user-defined parameters. The powerful and versatile system can also collect detailed operational data useful for optimising performance and enhancing pipeline safety.

Modbus Module Test Tool Software
ModTest
-
Modtest 2 software allows the configuration and settings of a Rotork Modbus Module Mk2 inside an individual actuator to be carried out easily and simply over the data bus. In addition, the actuator can also be exercised using this PC based software. The Modtest 2 software is used for diagnostic and maintenance of a Modbus controlled actuator over a serial link from the PC.

CVA Range
-
The CVA range of linear and quarter-turn actuators provide an electrically powered process control operator suitable for most control valve types and sizes. The CVA sets a new standard for process control and valve actuation. Rotork has proven expertise in applying new technologies in the automation of valves to bring enhanced performance and innovative features. This philosophy has now been applied to a new range designed specifically for the exacting demands of process control, specfically continuous modulating control valve applications.

CP
-
CP range pneumatic actuators are a versatile, modular, scotch yoke design available in both double-acting and spring-return configurations. The compact and efficient design yields high torques even at low pressures. The design concepts found in Rotork's large, heavy-duty actuators has been applied to the CP range, which brings heavy-duty actuator qualities to small, quarter-turn actuators.

CQ
-
The CQ range provides an innovative fully-concentric and balanced actuator design for quarter-turn valves. The design features a helical mechanism that transforms linear piston motion into quarter-turn valve stem rotation. CQ actuators provide a much higher torque output for a given footprint than scotch yoke designs typically utilised to operate many quarter-turn valve types. It is therefore ideally suited for installation in confined spaces. Further, Rotork’s unique helical pin design provides higher efficiency than a helical gear mechanism utilised by other valve actuator manufacturers. As standard, the CQ torque output profile, like that of a scotch yoke actuator, is engineered to parallel the torque demand profile typically found with popular quarter-turn valve types. The CQ design however is unique in that the torque profile can be custom engineered and manufactured to meet specific, non-standard valve torque requirements. In our experience, the CQ standard range of sizes is suitable for applications that require a pneumatically powered actuator with torque demand less than 150,000 Nm. However, we also engineer CQ actuators with greater output and/or hydraulic power. Please apply to Rotork for these applications.
